Prerequisites
Advanced candidates must:

  • be familiar with the plug-in objects of the Vectorworks Fundamentals product
  • be able to create a 3D model
  • be familiar with the concept of information modeling
  • be able to perform basic conversions of 2D to 3D geometry
  • be familiar with the solids or Boolean family of operations as well as have a basic understanding of NURBS curves and surfaces
  • be familiar with the concept of the working plane and ground plane in Vectorworks
  • be comfortable with creating, editing and efficiently using Resources and Resource libraries
  • be able to apply data to objects, create and edit worksheets
  • fully understand layers, classes, saved views, sheet layers and viewports
