Virtual Test Drive Set-Up

This section outlines what you will need to do to prepare for the Virtual Test Drive event.

Please review the Virtual Training Requirements and/or the Virtual Training FAQ.

Workstation set up:

Dual Monitor Setup: Please view the correct dual monitor setup.

Internet Connection: The recommended Internet connection rate is 5 Mbps (Mega Bits Per Second). An Internet connection test can be done at speedtest.net. Although a wireless connection may work, a wired Internet connection is recommended.

GoToMeeting Setup:
• You will receive an email with your GoToMeeting link.
• Launch and log into GoToMeeting first, on the smaller of the two monitors. GoToMeeting will list audio options in their control panel, including a phone option or a microphone and speakers option. If you choose the phone option, the phone number and Meeting ID will display in the control panel. You will also use the control panel to enter text in the chat session. Please note: if you have a question or need help, please press "H" and the instructor will un-mute you to ask the question.

Mikogo Setup:
• You will receive an email with your session number 15-20 minutes prior to the start of the Virtual Test Drive event. Please note: each attendee will have a unique session number.
• After you have GoToMeeting running, download and install Mikogo for Mac or for Windows.

Please print out the Top Ten Things to Remember About Vectorworks document.
