These three-hour, classroom training sessions provide you with a hands-on tour of the new features within the Vectorworks 2012 software as well as a tour of the new libraries and training videos added to the Vectorworks Service Select Portal. This event is exclusive to Vectorworks Service Select members. Computers will be provided in some locations, however attendees may be required to bring their own in some locations with a 30-day trial of Vectorworks 2012 installed.

Virtual Test Drives
Cost: Free
Attendance Benefits:
Earn 3 AIA, LA CES, or APLD Continuing Education Units, and save on Vectorworks Training.
(20%* for Service Select Members, and 10% for non-members)

Virtual Test Drives give you the option to attend a live hands-on test drive event from anywhere in the U.S. You'll be able to communicate, follow the instructor, and get a hands-on experience of the new features of the Vectorworks 2012 software. You'll need to have an appropriate internet connection as well as a second monitor to log directly into a computer in the Vectorworks Training Facility.

Hardware Requirements: You can use a Mac (OS X 10.5 or greater) or PC (Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7). It is best to have two computers that you can work with or a dual monitor setup or a large screen monitor (25"-30"). We recommend using a hands-free phone device or headset with microphone.

Recommended Internet Connection: 5 Mbps (Mega Bits Per Second) a test can be done at speedtest.net. Although a wireless connection may work it is recommended to use a wired internet connection so the connection is not lost during the training session and you have optimal connection speed.

Join us at your local user group meeting for a lecture style presentation on what's new in the Vectorworks 2012 software. When you register, you'll be asked to select the topics of most interest to you, which will help us develop the agenda for that evening.
