Nemetschek North America Supports Entertainment Industry Cause
Columbia, Maryland (April 15, 2008)Nemetschek North America is proud to have supported a raffle to raise funds for the ESTA Foundation's "Behind the Scenes" program with a donation of VectorWorks Spotlight with RenderWorks. The ESTA (Entertainment Services and Technology Association) Foundation is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization established in early 2005 to create and support educational and charitable programs for the entertainment technology industry. Their Behind the Scenes program provides financial support to entertainment technology industry professionals when they are ill or injured, providing grants for emergency situations.
The raffle took place in conjunction with motorcycle club The Long Reach Long Riders' annual fundraising ride. Results were announced at the recent U.S. Institute for Theater Technology (USITT) conference in Houston. A total of $8,364 was raised for Behind the Scenes during the three-day conference.
Among the winners and prizes including Nathan Lee, an assistant professor at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, who won a copy of VectorWorks Spotlight with RenderWorks.
