VectorWorks User Group Formed in Charlotte, NC
Columbia, Maryland (November 26, 2007)Nemetschek North America announces the formation of a VectorWorks User Group in Charlotte, North Carolina. The User Group consists of designers who use VectorWorks Designer, Architect, Landmark, Spotlight, Machine Design, Fundamentals, and RenderWorks—a family of cross-platform, comprehensive CAD/BIM programs for large and small design firms.
There are currently about 40 VectorWorks User Groups throughout the country.
"Our User Groups are an important part of the Nemetschek team," says Theresa Eckels, Marketing Manager for Nemetschek North America. "They not only provide VectorWorks users with a chance to meet with each other and share information, they are an invaluable resource for exchanging tips about using the program, for comparing experiences, and asking questions that are specific to a particular field or discipline."
The Charlotte User Group leader is Hong Choe, an architect at Shook Kelley's Charlotte office. The group is open to VectorWorks users and interested non-users alike. Information about meeting dates, times, and locations can be found at www.nemetschek.net/community or by calling Theresa Eckels at (410) 290-5114.
"Our user group focuses on helping everyone to get the most out of VectorWorks. In addition to prepared educational sessions, we save lots of time for questions and answers," says Patrick Stanford leader of the Southern California VectorWorks User Group. "You never know where our discussion will go, but everyone always goes home knowing more than when they arrived."
