New Entourage Arts Image Props Available for VectorWorks
Columbia, Maryland (November 14, 2006)Nemetschek North America announced today that Entourage Arts has developed three new tree and plant image prop volumes for use in VectorWorks non-photorealistic renderings.
NPR Trees & Plants Volume 1 contains 121 hand-rendered watercolor-style trees and plants. Tree species include ash, birch, fir, maple, poplar, palm, blue juniper, weeping cedar, and more. Plant species include black-eyed Susan, clematis, hosta, lobelia, lysimachia, and begonia. NPR Tropical Trees & Plants Volume 1 contains 113 hand-rendered tropical trees and plants, including fuschia, bromeliad, century plant, croton, bird of paradise, purple heart, pampas grass, white caladium, bougainvillea, footstool palm, oleander, and more. The Wang Collection Trees & Plants Volume 1 contains 112 hand-rendered watercolor-style trees and plants, including a variety of temperate plants, deciduous shrubs, tropical shrubs, coniferous trees, deciduous trees, tropical bamboo, and tropical palm.
“These new non-photorealistic plant image libraries from Entourage Arts are a great value for VectorWorks landscape architects and designers, as well as architects and builders,” says Darick Dehart, Nemetschek North America’s VectorWorks Landmark product manager. “The quality of the plant images is outstanding. It’s obvious that a lot of skill and time went into creating these plant libraries. The traditional watercolor and looser Wang style watercolor plants are a nice complement to the realistic X-frog™ plant images we ship in VectorWorks Landmark 12 and offer our users more than 300 additional options to enhance their drawings with minimal cost and effort.”
The image prop libraries are compatible with the full VectorWorks line of products, which includes VectorWorks Designer, VectorWorks Architect, VectorWorks Landmark, VectorWorks Spotlight, VectorWorks Machine Design, and VectorWorks Fundamentals.
"I am delighted to work with Nemetschek North America to offer our non-photorealistic libraries in VectorWorks format and look forward to providing more quality products for the VectorWorks community,” says Susan Sorger, founder and president of Entourage Arts. “We believe we fill a specialized need and a void in the market, and we encourage VectorWorks users to voice their needs so we can better serve them."
Entourage Arts provides architects, landscape architects and designers, and illustrators with quality non-photorealistic entourage elements for use in conceptual or formal renderings. Artists worldwide create Entourage Arts masked “cutouts” to exacting standards that cannot be easily matched by individual renderers within the time constraints of most architectural illustration projects.
