Topic: Vectorworks in Practice
We all use Vectorworks slightly differently, when the software is well integrated with our workflow it becomes a critical part of the design and decision process. This month the group will explore using Vectorworks as the main design tool for an imagined show in the Fern Street Theatre. Explore some general topics such as Libraries, Worksheets, Seating Plans while addressing several drafting issues as they arise such as tool pre-sets, attributes and custom styles. By the end of the evening you will have designed the stage, a simple set seating, front of house layouts,placed scenery, set Props for 2 scenes, and prepared a 3D rendering pack for review.
