Designing Water-efficient Landscapes with CAD (1 LA CES, PLANET, or APLD CEU)
Presented by Eric Gilbey, RLA, ASLA, Prof. Member APLD, Landscape Industry Specialist at Nemetschek Vectorworks, Inc.
Designing landscapes with sustainability in mind is no longer a matter of preference but one of meeting jurisdictional requirements. To meet these demands, site design professionals can use computer-aided design (CAD) software. Landscape architects and designers will not only benefit from improved workflows, but they’ll also be able to incorporate the water needs of proposed plants, design hydrozones for irrigation, and calculate water budgets, resulting in beautiful landscapes that maximize water efficiency.
