Expo Classroom Session Addresses Sustainable Sites
Creating Sustainable Sites Using Computer-Aided Design
1 AIA, ALA, LA CES, or APLD CEU
Thursday, February 7
10:45-11:45 a.m. in the Expo Classroom
Most CAD programs can extract data from simple geometry, such as lines and polygons. Industry expert Eric Gilbey, RLA, ASLA, Prof Member APLD, will show attendees how to take advantage of such software tools – and not just for general design and drafting, but also to analyze, report, and select materials more appropriately. This session focuses on the site design process addressed by the Sustainable Sites InitiativeTM Guidelines and Performance Benchmarks 2009, including Site Selection, Integrated Design Team Collaboration, and implementing the Site Design Sections.
Nemetschek Vectorworks' Booth Schedule (#2911)
In addition to Eric's session, don't miss our engaging booth presentations at New England Grows.
At our booth (#2911), we plan to cover topics from what's new in Vectorworks Landmark 2013 and meeting the new obligations in water-efficient site design to how to use smart hybrid objects to create faster, better plans, and more!
