You are about to activate your copy of Vectorworks, but before you do, we have some very important information about your Vectorworks license. Effective July 12, 2010, Nemetschek North America will end support for V12, V2008, and V2009 before Service Pack 5 (SP5) Series "E" Vectorworks licenses. Below you will find additional information specific to your version:
Version 12 or 2008 User
You will need to upgrade your license to V2009 SP5 or V2010. If you are an educational user who received your license for free, please return to our student portal, student.myvectorworks.net , and request a newer version of the program. If you received your license via another method, please contact your local distributor for further instructions.
If you would prefer to continue to use your V12 or V2008 license, follow the instructions below to activate your license until July 12, 2010. If you choose to continue to use Vectorworks 12 or 2008 after July 12, your license will be at risk of failing. This means that if you attempt to reinstall the program, replace hardware, install on a new computer, update service packs, or renew your license, you will be unable to reactivate the program.
To begin the activation process, please select your language:
Version 2009 User
You are using an old service pack, and you will need to update to SP5. Please check for updates within Vectorworks and download our most current service pack for Vectorworks 2009 Series E, SP5.
Vectorworks 2009 SP5 Series E updates will require that you re-activate your license after you install the update. For SP5 this involves a new one-step process, which is easier than in prior releases of Vectorworks 2009. It does, however, require that you activate Vectorworks using an internet connection that will allow Vectorworks to access your web server without firewall or proxy server security restrictions.
